Description
A classic Northwest IPA. This full flavoured, full bodied
beer is generously hopped with Northwest hops to give a
mild bitterness and full hop aroma. A small addition of
crystal malt gives this IPA a light amber colour, and a
faint malty sweetness to balance all those hops!
Comments
BBC » My father
bought this beer for me on the recommendation of a wine dude
he saw on Shaw TV, but it has that bitter marmalade flavour
that some people seem to like, but I can't figure out why.
Although it has a slight sweetness to go with the bitterness
I don't think it is enough to make me want to finish even
one bottle let alone the whole six-pack.
Shawn from Victoria, BC » This is a fine IPA. I enjoyed every mouthful of hoppy goodness. Not too bitter, surprisingly, but there's still lots of hop aroma to go around. But, if flavor scares you, like it does BBC, then by all means stick to the light, fizzy lagers.
Louis from Calgary, AB » The kinesthetic mouthfeel of this beer is exceptional. Rarely have I felt such a smooth, velvety, satin-like feeling in the palate. There is a dried grass, almost hay type of aroma, and evident hoppiness in the flavour contrasting with maltiness that lingers on up to the finish.
