Description
This premium craft beer commemorates the 'thinking' gargoyle
of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. Gargoyles still perch
atop a few historic buildings in Old Montreal and Old Quebec.
The name 'gargoyle' comes from the Old French word 'gargouille'
meaning 'throat, gargle'. In 13th century Western Europe,
church water-spouts in the shape of gargoyles were believed
to ward off evil spirits. May the spirit of the gargoyle
protect the unmistakable great taste of the 'U'!
Comments
BBC » Not much
of a hint of honey in its flavour which kind of defeats
the purpose of drinking a honey pilsener instead of a normal
crisp pilsener like Becks, but otherwise its alright.
