BBC » Back in
the day this is what I would get when I could afford something
more than the basic swill which is why I have put it in
the Premium Lager category even though it doesn't identify
itself as such.
Verona from Revelstoke,
BC » I just talked with the local liquor store
and they tell me John LaBatt Classic beer is no longer being
made. Is this true?
Randy from Alberta »
I have the same bottles (except green labels) and say Special
Extra Aged on the labels. They also come in a wooden box,
which again is marked John Labatt Classic. Do you know the
age of the bottle or the wooden box. Have a great day.

Paul from Toronto » I have my original sketches of both the bottle design & label design of John Labatt Classic [NOT for sale]. I am the one who came up with the whole 'Labatt Classic' concept while I was a senior designer at a company called Savage/Sloan in Toronto. I made the suggestion of a wooden gift box in one of our presentation meetings with Labatt's. I've got lots of behind-the-scenes stories about how 'Classic' came about and I am still quite proud of it.
